What the Tribune Chronicle had to say recently:
"Another excellent candidate is Edward Stredney who has amassed a solid record as a Niles councilman. He has helped his ward manage blight, foreclosures and absentee landlords. He has helped his city provide low-cost recreation, taxes and utilities.
"Stredney seems open to school administration consolidation to save taxpayer money. He wants to tackle Ohio's bloated government, especially its duplicative boards and commissions. He wants to shake up other elected officials he says haven't acted fast enough to bring speedier broadband communication to Trumbull County to meet the demands of prospective employers."

Many volunteers have been walking door-to-door talking to their friends and neighbors about our campaign, collecting signatures and building the kind of grassroots campaign we need to win this race - in the primary and in the general election.
I love Trumbull County. I love the people that call Trumbull County their home. Ashley and I love campaigning - because we get to meet you, often one-on-one. Many families have taken the time to sit and talk with me on matters closest to their hearts. I have sat with many families at their kitchen tables and I have heard them loud and clear. I have listened to you and learned what you care about, what you hold sacred and what issues you want someone to fight for.
Now, according to the many I have talked with, I know that people here in Trumbull County are ready for a leader who will fight to bring jobs here. I know that people here are ready for a leader to help turn this Valley back into the powerhouse it once was.
I will continue to be clear and unapologetic about my stands on certain issues at the center of our lives, because I have listened to you.
I will continue my fight for family supporting jobs for Trumbull County.
I will continue to help the residents here lift themselves up and get back their self respect.
It is time that Trumbull County moves ahead. It is time.
